The Philosophy Behind
From lazy to marathon crazy ⭐
My name is Elo. I’m French and divide my time between Denmark and Switzerland.
I started running seriously in 2021, initially to improve a heart condition and get into better shape. What began as a hobby — and, if I’m honest, something of a mandatory workout — quickly became a passion and a real lifestyle the moment I crossed the finish line of my first marathon in Paris in 2023.
That feeling of being strong, pushing my limits, and being part of something bigger has stayed with me ever since. I still feel it every time I cross a finish line.
And things escalated quickly! I became eager to discover new races, new cities, and new energies around the world.
I’m not a coach. I’m not a pro. I’m not even particularly fast. I’m simply someone who fell in love with running, racing, travelling, and everything that comes with it.
Friends and fellow runners started asking me questions about the marathons I’d run: how I got into them, where I stayed, what the courses were like, and what I wished I’d known beforehand.
That’s how the idea for this blog was born.
Today, I travel around the world to run several marathons each year, and I’m here to share the practical tips, honest experiences, and essential information that can make your next goal race a little easier — and a lot more enjoyable.
